Even my 7 year old son agreed that the book was better. (In my house the rule is, we have to read it before we see it.) I haven't read the books but I have enjoyed watching all of the movies. </p> <p>I saw The Order of the Phoenix a few days ago and I actually felt like it was a weaker film than the previous movies. Still, I can readily attribute part of that to my not having read the books. I saw The Order of the Phoenix a few days ago and I actually felt like it was a weaker film than the previous movies. Still, I can readily attribute part of that to my not having read the books. I just may have to read those suckers one of these days.
