   Maybe I don’t get your joke but… the other 3 are fully capable of walking. The toddler, however, is probably still a little shaky.

   The point was that she’s carrying the white, biological child, and making the adopted, foreign children walk. It’s just a curious image, don’t you think?

   Not really. She often carried the others when they were younger, and I still see her carry Z when Shiloh’s not around. And Shiloh can’t really walk. She’s not even two yet. Plus, AJ’s pregnant–try to imagine this from a pregnant woman’s point of view. Maddox is almost 7, Pax is almost 4.5 (can you imagine how much those boys weigh?), and even Z is already 3. And those three are perfectly able to walk. So why shouldn’t they? I don’t see an issue here.

   PS: Your writing’s great and often makes me laugh. Looking forward to your next column.
